iHeartMedia has launched “Christmas 96.7” on WBZW Union City/Atlanta GA.
WBZW, which will run commercial-free through the holidays, rimshots Atlanta from the south. The station had been simulcasting Spanish CHR “Z105.7” WBZY Canton/Atlanta since May 2020.
Atlanta is one of the few markets where historically no secular station goes all-Christmas. The niche in the market has been claimed in recently years exclusively by Salem’s Christian AC “104.7 The Fish” WFSH-FM.
