Great British Radio has hired Richard Digance for a regular Sunday slot.
Richard is a BAFTA-nominated entertainer and a recipient of The Gold Award from The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters. He has made numerous appearances on Countdown, released 43 albums and published 22 books.
He has also supported Steve Martin in the USA along with Robin Williams and Roy Orbison at the London Palladium.
Richard will be on Great British Radio each Sunday from 1pm till 2pm starting this weekend.
He says: “Having begun my media career in hospital radio, before joining the BBC, Capital Radio and gaining Independent Radio documentary awards, I am delighted to return to my roots as a member of Great British Radio.
“When I started we played records on a turntable with jump leads, so I’m hoping it will be much easier now! Sunday lunches may not be so palatable now but I’m really looking forward to it. Rennies at the ready!”
