Cody Alan To Depart CMT After Midnite

Cody Alan has announced that he will be stepping down as host of “CMT After Midnite” on New Years Eve.

Alan has hosted After Midnite since January 2014 through a partnership between CMT and iHeartMedia. He succeeded show founder Blair Garner after Garner hosted the show from 1993 to 2013.

In a brief post on Instagram and Facebook, Alan wrote, “I’ll be hosting my last “After MidNite” show for iHeart Radio on New Years Eve—Excited to bring you something new in 2022!” In addition to “CMT After Midnight”, Alan has hosted the syndicated “CMT Radio Live” from 7pm-12am eastern since 2009 and CMT’s “CMT Hot 20 Countdown” on television. Alan has previously served as MD and morning host at “99.5 The Wolf” KPLX Dallas and programmed “101.5 The Eagle” KEGA Salt Lake City.
