Cledus T. Judd Departs Mornings At WTCR-FM

iHeartMedia Country “TCR 103.3” WTCR-FM Huntington WV and morning host Cledus T. Judd have parted ways.

Judd, best known as a Country music parody artist, has been hosting mornings at various stations since 2005 including “94.9 The Bull” WUBL Atlanta and two stints at 99.5 WQYK Tampa. He had been with WTCR-FM since 2012. He has also done fill-ins at 95.5 WSM-FM Nashville and appeared on multiple television shows including CMT’s Most Wanted Live, USA’s Nashville Star and VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club.

In a statement iHeartMedia Area President Tracey Baumgard wrote, “Though we were working hard to renegotiate his contract, we were unable to come to a mutual agreement. We appreciate all his contributions during his time with us and wish him well. The morning show will continue on schedule with Judy Eaton on 103.3 TCR Country.”

Judd told the Herald-Dispatch newspaper, “If that is their story, then so be it. But I cannot sit here and tell you that’s not entirely accurate. With that said, bygones are bygones and I’m gone.”

Longtime morning co-host Judy Eaton remains in mornings at WTCR-FM.
