Chris Tyler Rises To WQTX/WWDK Program Director

Chris Tyler Stacks 92.1 WQTX 94.1 Duke FM WWDK LansingMidwest Communications has announced the promotion of Chris Tyler to Program Director of Rhythmic AC “Stacks 92.1” WQTX St. Johns and Classic Country “94.1 Duke-FM” WWDK Jackson in the Lansing MI market.

Tyler will continue as afternoon host at WWDK, which he joined in March 2022 after previously spending 23 years at Townsquare Media Lansing as Program Director on Country 100.7 WITL as well as a stint as Operations Manager for the Townsquare cluster.

Lansing radio vet Chris Tyler moves into management at Midwest Communications’ Lansing cluster of stations.

MWC Lansing Operations Manager Terry Stevens commented, “Chris is a well-known name in Lansing, and we look forward to expanding his role in our cluster.  Chris will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of WWDK-FM 94.1 Duke FM and WQTX-FM Stacks 92.1 in addition to continuing his show on Duke FM in Afternoon Drive.”
