Audacy Country “Y108” WDSY Pittsburgh has tabbed Chris Mack as its new afternoon host.
Mack most recently has been serving in a digital and fill-in capacity for co-owned Sports “93.7 The Fan” KDKA-FM after previously co-hosting mornings from 2018 until last May. Mack joined the KDKA-FM morning show in 2018 after previously serving as a fill-in host and pre and post-game host for the station’s Pittsburgh Pirates coverage from 2014-18. He also hosts a show for Audacy’s BetQL Sports Betting network.
Mack began his career in State College PA as evening host on CHR “Beaver 103” WBHV and “Hot 107.9” WJHT before spending a year at “Hot 96.3” WRHT New Bern NC as night host and APD/afternoon host. He would join CHR “B94” WBZZ in 2003 as a weekend/fill-in host before rising to overnight and midday host following its flip to Rock “93.7 K-Rock” WRKZ in 2004. Mack then spent five years co-hosting middays at Sports “ESPN 1250” WEAE from 2006-10.
Mack takes the afternoon slot at WDSY that had been held by Tom ‘Cadillac Jack’ Kapsalis until his exit earlier this month.
