Zimmer Communications Soft AC “98.7 The Dove” KTXR Springfield MO has announced the addition of Chris Louzader as morning co-host alongside Kevin Howard.
Louzader joins KTXR after spending the past seven years at a local production company. She also serves as a movie critic for KOLR-TV and KTXR and spent sixteen years as Marketing Director for Mid-West Family Broadcasting’s Springfield stations from 1997-2013.
Howard has been with KTXR since its launch in August 2020. Louzader succeeds his longtime co-host Liz Delany, who resigned from the station in October alleging “a culture of bullying” at the company after being suspended for asking about compensation for scheduling the music and hosting a “Saturday Night Dance Party” beyond her morning show duties. Howard and Delany previously hosted mornings at iHeartMedia’s “Alice 95.5” KTOZ from 2003-2014 and AC 105.9 KGBX from 2014-2020.
