Audacy has promoted Chris Kindard to Sports Format Vice President.
Kinard will continue in his roles as VP/Sports Programming, Washington DC Director of Operations, and PD of “106.7 The Fan” WJFK-FM, “980 The Team” WTEM and Classic Hits “94.7 The Drive” WIAD. He has been with the cluster since 1998 joining then Hot Talk 106.7 WJFK an an intern and later producer. He rose to Brand Manager in 2007 through its 2009 flip to Sports later rising to Operations Manager in 2019 and adding duties for WIAD and WTEM in 2020.
In the new role Kinard will lead Sports brand and format strategy and execution for the company collaborating with Vice President of Sports Danny Freisinger on the company’s multiplatform content strategy and production.

Kinard takes the Sports format role that had been held by former WFAN New York/Infinity Sports Network PD Spike Eskin prior to his move back to Philadelphia to host afternoons on 94.1 WIP.
