He shared on Facebook, “I am writing to announce that my role at Cumulus Media has been eliminated, a development that I greet with a mix of sadness and anticipation. During my 7.5-year tenure in Des Moines, I have accumulated a wealth of experience and formed lasting bonds with colleagues and friends. As I process this change, I am also excited to discover the new paths that God has laid out before me. Having navigated a 30-year career without facing a similar situation, I am thankful for the outpouring of support and encouragement from my network. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to those who have reached out with kind words and offers of support. I am fortunate to have a robust support system comprising of mentors, friends, and prayer warriors who will provide guidance and encouragement as I embark on this new journey. In the short term, I will focus on exploring new opportunities, including the possibility of launching a podcast and entertaining potential job offers.”
