Big news from us!As of next week AsiaRadioToday will adopt its parent brand logo of radioinfo.

You will also be able to find us at a new web address, www.radioinfo.asia.

But don’t worry, if you have bookmarked this URL, it will automatically forward you to radioinfo.asia.

All your usual features will still be on the new site, and it will be faster and more responsive than the old one.

To celebrate the rebrand, we are offering all employers FREE JOB ADS on our jobs page for the next few months. If you are looking for any staff, just send us an email to [email protected] with all the details and ask for free placement on the Asia site.

Radioinfo began in Australia over 20 years ago and has been serving Australia and New Zealand since then. In 2014 we bought this site from its founder Nik Martin and have been operating it ever since. We have one full time reporter based in India and freelancers all around Asia.

We welcome all contributions and media releases about radio, podcasting, and audio products from everywhere around our region. They can be sent to [email protected]. For now, emails sent to the old editor email address will also be received, but eventually we will close that address.

Astro Radio kicked off the Kami Care Helpline available now for vulnerable Malaysians to send in their requests for help via WhatsApp to all Astro Radio brands and receive daily necessities such as rice, sugar, salt, flour, biscuits, tea, canned food and instant noodles during these trying times.
Kenny Ong, Chief Executive Officer, Astro Radio, said: “We hope the Kami Care Helpline helps more Malaysians access their daily necessities during these difficult times. We are working to increase our support and reach to those in need through our Kami Care campaign and will share more updates soon.”
All Malaysians in need can submit their requests on WhatsApp anytime daily via the Kami Care Helpline numbers.
Listeners can also send in their requests on behalf of others who require assistance.
Those eligible will be notified directly and deliveries of these essential kits will be carried out daily.

After 26 years in Singapore radio and media, Kiss92 DJ Maddy Barber, co-host of the station’s breakfast show ‘Maddy, Andre & Divian In The Morning’, will be presenting her last show on 16 July.
The industry veteran, who commands a huge fan following with her exuberant personality and candid attitude, announced today that she will be leaving radio to focus on growing her award-winning bespoke jewellery brand, MADLY.
Barber said: “Not many DJs can say that they’ve done the absolute best shows they were born to do, and got to do it with partners whom they have once-in-a-lifetime chemistry and connection with – I’ve done that, twice over! So, what’s next? Radio will always be my first love, but now is the time for me to put my heart and soul into growing MADLY. My most transformative years were spent here at SPH Radio and it will forever have a special place in my heart.”
Sim Hong Huat, General Manager, SPH Radio, said: “It has been an amazing decade with Maddy and we’re definitely sad to see her leave. But more so, we’re happy that she is doing this for herself and her family, especially in these unprecedented times where emotional and mental wellbeing are so important.”
