Curtis Media Group has announced the addition of Carolyn Carver as General Manager of News/Talk 680 WPTF Raleigh (and four translators), Classic Rock “Rock 92.9” 570 WQDR (and five translators), and the Triangle Traffic Network.
Carver joins Curtis Media from the Greater Wilmington (NC) Business Journal where she had served as VP/Sales since January 2022. She has held sales and management roles across the US and her native Canada including stints as General Sales Manager for Corus Hamilton ON, Local Sales Manager for Townsquare Media Buffalo NY, VP/Sales for iHeartMedia Greensboro NC, General Sales Manager for Audacy Houston, and Market President of Alpha Media Amarillo TX.
Curtis splits the General Manager duties at their Raleigh cluster amongst four GMs.

Carver brings many years of experience in Radio and Digital Sales Management having worked in markets including Toronto, Buffalo, Greensboro and Houston. She most recently was Vice President of Sales for the Greater Wilmington (NC) Business Journal.
