My Broadcasting Corporation, which owns sixteen stations across fourteen markets in Ontario, is acquiring a station across the border.
My Broadcasting will acquire CHR “Kiss 102.7” WLYK Cape Vincent NY from Border International Broadcasting, Inc. for $325,000. Rogers Sports & Entertainment owns a 20% stake in the seller and currently operates the station as part of its Kingston ON cluster with “Country 93.5” CKXC-FM and Rock “K-Rock 105.7” CIKR-FM.
The majority of My Broadcasting’s stations feature an AC or Classic Hits format branded as “My-FM“. Kozacko Media Service’s George Kimble served as broker of the deal, which has not yet been filed with the FCC.
