Brody Smith Joins Katie & Company As Producer

Brody Smith Audacy has announced the addition of Brody Smith as producer of their Nashville based United Stations syndicated midday Country show “Katie & Company“.

Smith will join the Katie Neal fronted program after most recently serving as PD/afternoon host at “Country Superstars 102.3” WKJO Smithfield NC until its sale at the end of last year. He had joined WKJO in April 2020 after previously programming iHeartMedia CHR “Wild 95.5” WLDI West Palm Beach, serving as APD of AC “Sunny 106.5” KSNE Las Vegas, and two stints at CHR “G105” WDCG Raleigh as APD/MD from 2003-2012 and morning show producer/co-host from 2016-18.

Audacy has named Brody Smith as Nashville-based producer for national country show “Katie & Company.”

“I feel like I manifested this opportunity,” says Smith. “I enjoyed working with clients on audio and video podcasts but also have a passion for country radio (as long as I didn’t have to wake up at 4am). Two days later, this opportunity encompassing both loves revealed itself! “I’d like to thank Tim Roberts, Jeff Sottolano, and most of all, Katie Neal for this amazing opportunity with Audacy Country.”

Brody Smith began his 20 plus year radio career in college, “accidentally” being in the right place (or studio) at the right time. That experience resulted in on-air and programming roles, with stops at WKCI in New Haven, WQGN in New London, KSNE in Las Vegas, WDCG in Raleigh and WLDI in West Palm Beach.
