The Brock & Salk Show is returning to Bonneville’s “Seattle Sports 710” KIRO Seattle.
Former University of Washington and Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Brock Huard will return to the station’s daily lineup alongside Bonneville Seattle Director of Programming Mike Salk starting Tuesday, September 6. Huard and Salk hosted middays at KIRO from its 2009 flip to Sports to 2013 when Salk exited for WEEI Boston. Upon his return in July 2014 they moved to 7-10am and were briefly syndicated to stations across the northwest. The show came to an end in September 2019 with the duo continuing to host a weekly podcast since then. Salk would reclaim the morning slot at KIRO in August 2021 with Huard making regular appearances. Huard will also continue to serve as a college football game analyst for FOX.
We’re getting the band back together. Mornings once again belong to Brock and Salk on Seattle Sports 710 AM.
Brock Huard is rejoining Mike Salk on the weekday morning lineup from 6-10 a.m., bringing the energetic duo back to the Seattle Sports airwaves with their unparalleled mix of insider access and expert analysis. Brock and Salk previously aired on Seattle Sports from April 2009 to September 2019, and transitioned to a weekly podcast shortly thereafter.
The official return date of Brock and Salk on Seattle Sports will be Tuesday, Sept. 6.
“I am thrilled to come back on the air with Mike Salk, though I feel like I never left,” said Huard. “My heart and passion are for the Pacific Northwest community, its teams, and its fans. On Sept. 6 that daily connection begins again.”
Brock and Salk will kick-start the day of local programming on Seattle Sports 710 AM, followed by Bump and Stacy, hosted by Michael Bumpus and Stacy Rost from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Wyman and Bob, hosted by Dave Wyman and Bob Stelton from 2–7 p.m.
“At Seattle Sports we aim to be the preeminent voice for sports fans in the region,” said Kyle Brown, Program Director for Seattle Sports. “The return of Brock Huard to an already strong weekday lineup helps cement our status as the go-to destination for sports coverage in the Pacific Northwest.”
You can hear Seattle Sports programming on 710 AM in the Seattle-Tacoma area, streaming at SeattleSports.com or on the Seattle Sports app, and on several other sports radio stations throughout the Pacific Northwest.
