Audacy Country “Y108” WDSY Pittsburgh is revamping its on-air lineup as it becomes the home base for Oceanic Tradewinds and United Stations’ syndicated “Broadway and Friends”.
Led by Jerry Broadway and also featuring Mitch English, Becca Walls and T. Wall, the current iteration of the morning show debuted in June 2022 when the trio joined Broadway following Bud Ford’s exit in late 2021 to become a meteorologist for KTUL-TV Tulsa. Broadway and Ford previously hosted mornings at 92.3 WIL St. Louis, “106.1 The Twister” KTGX Tulsa and in the Dothan AL market at both “B105.3” WECB and 95.5 WTVY.
With the addition of the new morning show, the current morning team of Tom ‘Cadillac Jack’ Kapsalis and Maria D’Antonio will move to afternoons and middays respectively. Kapsalis had taken over mornings last July after a brief four month stint as APD/morning host at Sun Broadcasting Country “Hell Yeah 93.7” WHEL Fort Myers. He also has hosted mornings at 100.7 WITL Lansing MI, was APD/midday host at Audacy’s 99.5 WYCD Detroit from 2018-2020, APD/afternoon host at 99.5 WQYK Tampa, and has worked at WWWW Detroit, KCYE Las Vegas, WXTU Philadelphia, and WMZQ Washington DC during his career. He recently was off the air after undergoing open heart surgery. D’Antonio previously hosted middays at WDSY before moving to the morning show.
Audacy has announced a new weekday lineup for Y108 (WDSY-FM) in Pittsburgh beginning May 1.
