Max Media Urban Adult Hits “100.5 The Vibe” WVBW Norfolk has announced the addition of Brittany ‘Blu’ Uzzell as midday host.
Blu previously worked at Radio One Hip Hop “iPower 92.1/104.1” WCDX Richmond as a weekend/fill-in host and later co-hosting nights from 2017 until 2020. She has also worked at Virginia State University’s Jazz 91.3 WVST Petersburg and serves as Tennis Coach at Virginia Union University.
Max Media of Hampton Roads is proud to announce the hiring of Brittany “Blu” Uzzell as the first midday personality on 100.5 The Vibe (Urban Adult Hits).
“I’m excited about adding Blu to 100.5 The Vibe. Her sound, energy and quick wit will make her an awesome personality in the 7 cities”, remarked Brand Manager Tone Hollywood.
Blu started her career at WVST on the campus of Virginia State University under Program Director Jennifer Williamson. In 2017 she joined Radio One’s WCDX iPower 92.1 in Richmond, VA doing fill-in and weekend shifts before being promoted to nights with co-host DJ Sir RJ until 2020.
Blu remarked, “I am extremely excited about this opportunity! The team here has high energy and a love for radio that I appreciate. I’m looking forward to making some noise in the 7-cities”.
