Blake Powers Joins WTCB As Morning Host

Power most recently served as Creative Services Director and on-air host at Christian AC 90.5 KSOS Las Vegas. He has also served as a weekend/fill-in host for Westwood One’s CHR and Hot AC formats since 2020. Powers has also previously held on-air roles in nights and afternoons at Classic Hits 98.7 KLUV Dallas from 2013-19, mornings at Country “106.5 The Wolf” WDAF-FM Kansas City from 2009-11, afternoon host at Hot AC 97.9 WRMF West Palm Beach from 2005-06, morning host at Rhythmic Oldies “Mojo 94.9” WMOJ Cincinnati in 1999-2000 as well as stints at numerous stations in Denver including afternoons at Hot AC “Mix 100” KIMN and middays at “Jammin 92.5” KDJM from 2000-05, morning host at “Martini 101.5” KTNI and Afternoon host at CHR “107.1 One-FM” KONN from 2007-08, and weekends/fill-ins at Country 98.5 KYGO in 2008-09.

Powers will continue in his roles at Westwood One. He fills the morning slot that has been held remotely by WSOX York PA afternoon host Dennis Mitchell since the exit of Kris Carson last fall.

Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that it has appointed Blake Powers as On-Air Host, Mornings, on B106.7/WTCB-FM in Columbia, SC. Powers is a voice talent for Cumulus Media’ Westwood One Hot AC and CHR formats and will continue in that role, in addition to hosting Morning Drive on B106.7. He has been on-air in markets including Dallas, Denver, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Kansas City, and West Palm Beach. Powers will debut on B106.7 on Tuesday, May 30th, and can be heard weekdays from 6:00am-10:00am.
