A coalition of ten stations in Atlanta have teamed up to promote voter registration, voter education and voter mobilization in advance of the November 2024 election.
Black Radio United For The Vote will partner with the Urban League of Greater Atlanta and its affiliates. The stations will provide a full day of programming on Tuesday, September 17 “National Voter Registration Day” to “educate, inform, and inspire Atlanta’s black community to register to vote, check their current registration status and be informed about what will be on the ballot.”
This is the second election cycle the stations have united to participate after being brought together by former WALR Program Director Terri Avery in 2020.
