BBC Newscast compiles all eight Liz Truss Local BBC Radio interviews

The BBC Newscast podcast has assembled the full set of interviews by Liz Truss for Local BBC Radio on Thursday morning.

The interviews attracted a large amount of mainstream press, where the Prime Minister defended her mini-budget, saying she was prepared to make “controversial and difficult decisions” to get the economy moving.

Press Gazette has also listened to the interviews and produced a round-up on what happened.

The interviews took place on Radio Leeds, Norfolk, Kent, Lancashire, Nottingham, Tees, Bristol and Stoke with presenters Rima Ahmed, Chris Goreham, Anna Cookson, Graham Liver, Sarah Julian, Amy Oakden, James Hanson and John Acres.
