Bauer Media Audio has agreed to acquire audio streaming software company SharpStream subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval.
The company already provides its services to seven of Bauer’s local markets – UK, Ireland, Slovakia, Portugal, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
SharpStream streams audio content live to internet audiences for some of the world’s biggest brands including sports broadcasters like the ATP and Le Mans Racing Series, plus to niche, ethnic and community audio broadcasters.
