Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Seattle, Miami, Detroit, Phoenix, Minneapolis, San Diego, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Denver, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Public News/Talk 88.5 WAMU jumps up 10.1 to 11.6 to expand its lead. Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP rises 6.9 – 7.5 – 8.0. Howard University Adult R&B 96.3 WHUR drops 8.3 to 7.1. iHeartMedia AC 97.1 WASH dips 6.7 – 6.3 – 5.9. Radio One’s Adult R&B “Majic 102.3/92.7” WMMJ/WDCJ is down 5.5 to 5.1.
Atlantic Gateway Communications Christian AC 91.9 WGTS plummets from its record high last month 7.9 to 5.0. Audacy Hip Hop 95.5 WPGC is up 3.1 to 3.6, while iHeartMedia Alternative “DC 101” WWDC rises 2.8 to 3.4.
Boston
Beasley’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM explodes up 5.8 to 7.5 to reclaim the Boston lead, while co-owned Classic Hits 105.7 WROR slips 8.7 to 7.2. Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX inches up 5.7 to 5.8. iHeartMedia CHR “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM slips 6.4 to 5.7, while sister Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX is down 5.9 to 4.9.
iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 680 WRKO rises 3.4 – 3.5 – 4.3. After slipping 4.7 to 3.4, Audacy Hot AC “Mix 104.1” WWBX rebounds to a 4.0 share. Audacy Sports 93.7 WEEI-FM trends up 3.4 – 3.5 – 3.9. Northeast Broadcasting AAA “92.5 The River” WXRV rises 2.7 to 3.2. Beasley Classic Rock “Rock 92.9” WBOS jumps 2.1 to 2.9.

iHeartMedia Classic Hits “95.7 The Jet” KJEB takes the lead with a 5.7 to 6.6 gain, which Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is its first time atop the market since September 2015 and its largest share since Holiday 2010. Audacy Soft AC “94.1 The Sound” KSWD surges up 4.6 – 4.8 – 6.3 for its highest share since Spring 2005 as Country KMPS. Bonneville’s “Seattle Sports 710” KIRO trends up 4.6 – 5.8 – 6.2. Bonneville News/Talk 97.3 KIRO-FM slides 7.3 – 6.7 – 6.1. Audacy Rock 99.9 KISW jumps up 4.3 to 5.0.

iHeartMedia Hip Hop 97.9 WJLB surges up 4.6 – 5.0 – 7.9 to take the lead in Detroit. Huff notes this is the first time atop the market since April 2009 and its largest share since Winter 1998.
Beasley Media Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX holds in second down 7.3 to 6.8. Audacy Classic Hits 104.3 WOMC drops 8.0 to 6.5. iHeartMedia AC 100.3 WNIC is steady at a 5.9 share, while sister Adult R&B “Mix 92.3” WMXD dips 5.7 to 5.5.

Sierra H Broadcasting Classic Hip Hop “101 The Bounce” KZCE sets a station record high for the second straight month as it rises 3.3 – 3.8 – 4.1. Also trending up are iHeartMedia CHR “104.7 Kiss-FM” KZZP (2.3 – 2.8 – 3.4) and Bonneville’s “Arizona Sports 98.7” KMVP (1.3 – 1.7 – 2.2).
Audacy Country 107.9 KMLE falls 5.6 to 4.3. iHeartMedia Hot AC “Mix 96.9” KMXP is down 5.0 to 4.0, while sister Conservative Talk 550 KFYI trends down 5.0 – 4.8 – 3.9. Audacy Classic Hits 94.5 KOOL-FM falls 4.0 – 3.1 – 3.0.

Public News/Talk 89.5 KPBS-FM holds at a 5.4 share. iHeartMedia Hot AC “Star 94.1” KMYI rises 4.6 to 5.2.

Bonneville continues to hold the top two spots although AC 101.1 KOSI rises 5.2 – 6.2 – 7.1 to take the lead, while Country 98.5 KYGO slides 7.6 to 6.8. Audacy Hot AC “Alice 105.9” KALC is up 5.4 to 5.5. KSE Media Hot AC “Mix 100” KIMN inches up 4.9 to 5.1. KSE Classic Hits “Kool 105” KXKL (5.3 to 5.0) and Audacy Classic Rock “99.5 The Mountain” KQMT (5.8 to 5.0) round out the top five.
iHeartMedia AAA 97.3 KBCO rises 3.7 to 4.5, while sister Alternative “Channel 93.3” KTCL trends down 4.7 – 4.5 – 4.0 and Country “106.7 The Bull” KWBL is down 2.3 to 1.7.
Max Media Hip Hop “Flo 107.1” KFCO trends up 0.6 – 0.8 – 1.4. Jazz 89.3 KUVO slides 2.2 – 1.9 – 0.9.

Radio One Adult R&B “Magic 95.9” WWIN-FM takes the lead with an 8.4 to 8.5 gain, while Audacy AC “Today’s 101.9” WLIF is off 8.7 to 8.1. iHeartMedia Variety Hits “102.7 Jack-FM” WQSR rises 7.3 to 7.5, while sister Country 93.1 WPOC slides 7.2 – 6.9 – 5.6. Radio One Hip Hop “92Q” WERQ dips 5.3 to 4.9.

Hubbard Alternative “105.7 The Point” KPNT rises 7.4 – 9.0 – 10.0 to take the St. Louis lead for the first time in the frequency’s history. Huff notes it is also the largest share ever for the signal.
Hubbard Classic Rock 94.7 KSHE trends down 10.0 – 9.3 – 8.4, while sister Variety Hits “106.5 The Arch” WARH takes third steady at an 8.3 share. iHeartMedia Classic Hits 103.3 KLOU (6.5 to 6.8) and Audacy Adult R&B “96.3 The Lou” WFUN-FM (6.3 to 6.8) tie for fourth.
Hubbard Country 92.3 WIL trends up 4.9 – 6.1 – 6.3. Audacy AC 102.5 KEZK trends down 7.6 – 6.6 – 5.8.
