Audacy Chooses Super Hi-Fi To Power HD Subchannels

Audacy has partnered with Super Hi-Fi to power five of their HD subchannels utilizing their digital content programming, production, and broadcasting processes.

WAAF” 104.1 WWBX-HD2 Boston, “Star 102.5” 107.7 WLKK-HD2 Buffalo, “KIKK” 100.3 KILT-HD3 Houston, “Roq of the 80s” 106.7 KROQ-HD2 Los Angeles, and “KNRK 2” 94.7 KNRK-HD2 Portland are now utilizing Super Hi-Fi’s “Program Director Radio Operating System” with localized content.

Through the partnership, the companies also operated “Audacy Innovation Radio” on 94.1 KMXB-HD2 Las Vegas through the NAB Show utilizing Super Hi-Fi’s suite of tools to program rotating formats across the day. Dayparts were hosted by some of Audacy’s national talent using Super Hi-Fi’s “Voicetrack Fusion”. The playout was cloud-based, delivered directly to the transmitter via Orban’s Optimod 5950: Super Hi-Fi Edition.
