Atlanta Receives Double The Otis

iHeartMedia CHR “Power 96.1” WWPW Atlanta has appointed Jeremy ‘Otis’ Maher as APD and afternoon host.

Maher adds those duties in addition to his move today from mornings to nights at Country “94.9 The Bull” WUBL. He had been co-hosting mornings there with Brian Moote and Kimmie Caruba from May 2022 until the show was cancelled with Moote and Caruba’s layoff last month.

He is on his second stint at iHeart Atlanta as he originally joined WUBL in February 2017 as Music Director and afternoon host through November 2020 before returning to that role in November 2021. It marks a return to the CHR format for him where he previously spent most of his career as Program Director at CHR 99.7 WDJX Louisville, APD/MD at “Kiss 95.1” WNKS Charlotte NC and on-air at WBNQ Bloomington IL, WNDV-FM South Bend, WNOW-FM Indianapolis and WZEE Madison. He also serves as in-game host for MLB’s Atlanta Braves.

Otis succeeds Ethan Cole in afternoons at WWPW.
