Ashley Williams Rises To Cox Orlando Director of Sales

Ashley Williams Cox Media Group OrlandoCox Media Group has announced the promotion of Ashley Williams to Director of Sales for its Orlando cluster.

Williams has spent her entire career with Cox in Orlando joining in 2007 as a Local Sales Assistant for WFTV-TV. After working on the television side as an Account Manager and Cross Media Specialist, she moved to their corporate digital side in 2015 as Local Solutions Specialist and Local Solutions Sales Marketing Manager. In 2019 she moved to the Orlando radio group first as Local Sales Manager and then Integrated Sales Manager.

Cox Media Group (“CMG”) today announced Ashley Williams has been promoted to Director of Sales. In this new role, Williams will be responsible for leading the sales team while driving the implementation of sales and marketing strategies that align with the Orlando stations’ objectives.

Williams has been with CMG for 15 years, crossing divisions from Radio, Corporate Digital, and Television. Williams started her career with CMG in 2007 as a Television Sales Assistant and quickly grew to a Digital Sales Specialist. In 2015, she joined the Corporate Digital Team in a pilot role as the first Local Solutions Specialist and was later promoted to Sales Marketing Manager. She returned to the local market joining the Orlando Radio Sales team in 2019 as a Local Sales Manager and was promoted to Integrated Sales Manager in 2020.
