Cumulus Media News/Talk 760 WJR Detroit has announced the addition of Anthony Bellino as co-host of “Sports Wrap” alongside Lomas Brown.
Bellino began his career as an intern at WJR as part of the Paul W. Smith morning show in 2007. He hosted mornings at iHeartMedia’s “Fox Sports 1230” WXWA Toledo from 2014 to 2020, which evolved into Michigan Sports Network’s “X’s & Bro’s” that he continues to host from 6-9am weekdays.
Brown joined the nightly 6-7pm show in November with Sean Baligan exiting the show in December.
Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that Anthony Bellino, a well-known Detroit area sports personality, debuts today as Co-Host of 760 WJR’s “SportsWrap.” Bellino joins “SportsWrap” Host and Lions great, Lomas Brown, for the one-hour show and can be heard weeknights from 6:00pm-7:00pm.
Bellino is currently part of the Detroit sports scene as an In-Game Host for the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan football program and serves as the Public Address Announcer for the University of Michigan men’s and women’s basketball programs and the University of Toledo men’s and women’s basketball programs. He comes to 760 WJR from the Toledo radio market. Bellino spends his free time helping his family at their Monroe grocery store, Danny’s Fine Foods, where he works as a fourth-generation butcher.
