Amazon Kids+ service launches with Fun Kids on board

Fun Kids is becoming a key partner for Amazon’s new Amazon Kids+ service providing ten ad-free radio stations.

It’s part of Amazon’s all-new Alexa experience for families where parents can choose any combination of options for their kids and access Fun Kids content.

New devices featuring a Tiger or Panda are being launched today along with software updates for existing devices aimed at kids.

The launch of Amazon Kids+ in the UK sees lots of audio content made available alongside ten stations from Fun Kids. This includes Audible books and kid-friendly premium Alexa skills such as Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place Kids, Bing Time and Gruffalo Move.

The 10 Ad-Free, Kid-Friendly Stations from Fun Kids include thousands of songs across Fun Kids Pop Hits, Fun Kids Soundtracks, Fun Kids Animals, Fun Kids Party, Fun Kids Classics, Fun Kids Naps, Fun Kids Classical, Fun Kids Silly as well as Fun Kids Non-Stop and Fun Kids Junior Non-Stop.

Matt Deegan, Station Manager of Fun Kids says: “Fun Kids is the biggest provider of kids audio in the UK with our national radio station and huge podcast network.

“We’re over the moon to have created ten brand new, ad-free, radio stations perfectly suited for little ears, now available on the new Echo Dot Kids.”

Amazon Kids and Amazon Kids+ on Alexa will be available to enable via the Alexa app, to new and existing Echo, Echo Dot, and Echo Plus devices, through an over-the-air software update from July 21st, the same day the Echo Dot Kids begins shipping.
