Alyssa Rose Comes Home To Join Bill Ryan In Mornings At WQAL

Former “Alt 94.9” KBZT San Diego midday host Alyssa Rose is returning home to Cleveland to join Audacy Hot AC “Q104” WQAL as morning co-host starting Wednesday, May 1.

Rose previously had two stints at KBZT serving as midday host from 2016 until 2020 and again from March 2022 to March 2023. She also served as Music Director from 2018 until her first exit. Prior to arriving in San Diego, she hosted nights at CHR “Q92” WDJQ Canton OH and was on-air at Kent State University’s Black Squirrel Radio. She also currently serves as in-arena host for the San Diego Gulls hockey team.

She now joins Bill Ryan in mornings at WQAL following the departure of Morgan Wright at the end of March.

Rose stated, “I’m beyond thrilled to join Audacy’s incredible team in Cleveland! Being a part of the ‘Q Morning Show’ with Bill Ryan, in my hometown nonetheless, is an absolute dream come true. I’m looking forward to waking up ‘The Land’ every weekday.”

“Alyssa has proven to be a valuable asset to Audacy. Her vibrant energy and wealth of experience make her the perfect addition to our lineup,” said Tom Herschel, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Cleveland. “Her history working with Bill will foster comfortable and compelling on-air chemistry, allowing the duo to deliver engaging content to our listeners each morning.”
