Alpha Bakersfield Promotes Erik Fox & Danny Palacios

Alpha Media Bakersfield has made a couple changes to their programming leadership.

CHR “Energy 95.3” KLLY Oildale PD/midday host Erik Fox will come off-air as Operations Manager for the cluster. Fox has been with the cluster since 2000 and had programmed KLLY since May 2020. During his tenure, Fox has served as APD at KLLY and hosted in every daypart at the station. He also served as cluster Production Director, morning host on the former Smooth Jazz 97.7 KSMJ and midday host on Rhythmic AC “Groove 99.3” KKBB. He has also worked on-air at KIKF Anaheim CA and programmed “Mix 104.3” KMXY Grand Junction CO.

With Fox rising to OM, Danny Palacios moves to the new role of cluster Director of Programming while continuing to host mornings at KKBB. Palacios began his current run with Alpha Bakersfield in July 2013 as KKBB Program Director/morning host and rose to Operations Manager in 2019. He has also was APD and on-air for Mapleton Communications San Luis Obispo and worked on-air and in production at multiple stations in Fresno.

Adlai ‘D-Lay’ Wilson will add middays at KLLY to replace Fox in addition to hosting afternoons at KKBB and serving as cluster Promotions Director.

In addition to KLLY and KKBB, Alpha Media owns Conservative Talk 97.7 KNZR-FM Shafter and Spanish Conservative Talk 1560 KNZR Bakersfield.
