Ally Bear Departs Kiss 96.1 Pittsburgh

iHeartMedia CHR “96.1 Kiss” WKST-FM Pittsburgh night host ‘Ally Bear’ Bair has announced she will be departing the station after her show today.

In a social media video, Bair states, “I’m leaving my job as a radio DJ to pursue a new career path. Unfortunately my heart just wasn’t in it anymore. The good news is, for the first time ever, I am putting my health and well-being first. This job brought me so much joy, and I will cherish the memories we made for the rest of my life. Thank you for letting me be your Ally Bear on Air.”

Bair joined iHeartMedia Pittsburgh in a sales coordinator role at the end of 2018. She added on-air duties in 2019 and also tracked in additional markets for the company. Prior to joining iHeart, Bair worked at AAA 91.3 WYEP Pittsburgh while in high school and in college was Director of Marketing for University of Northern Iowa’s 94.5 KULT-LP Cedar Falls IA.
