Aimee Brooks Rises To Evening Host At WRIF

Aimee Brooks 101.1 WRIF Detroit WIOTBeasley Media has announced the promotion of weekend/fill-in host Aimee Brooks to night host from 7pm-12am at Rock 101.1 WRIF Detroit.

Brooks has been with WRIF since November 2020 and has been filling-in on the night show since ‘Screamin Scott’ Randall moved to afternoons at Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX at the start of the year. Prior to joining WRIF, Brooks spent seventeen years at Rock 104.7 WIOT Toledo rising to Program Director prior to her exit in January 2020. She also current tracks afternoons at “I92” WIDL Cass City MI and middays at “Q92.3” KQRQ Rapid City SD.

Beasley Media Group announces Aimee Brooks has been promoted as the new nighttime personality at 101 WRIF-FM in the Motor City. She most recently was heard filling in during the time slot at the station.

“Aimee is a great addition to the WRIF lineup,” Said WRIF Program Director Jade Springart. “We are thrilled to have her steer the airwaves weeknights from 7 p.m. to midnight! Her creativity, knowledge of rock n’ roll and personality are the perfect fit for WRIF.”

I’ve dreamt of this moment since the beginning of my career,” said Brooks. “I’d like to express my undying gratitude to Jade Springart for her constant support and bringing me on board. I look forward to spending my evenings on Detroit’s Riff!”

Brooks replaces Scott Randall, who was recently moved down the hall to take over the afternoon drive shift on Beasley’s Classic Rock WCSX-FM.
