Adams Radio Group has sold Rock “93.5 The Beach” WZBH Millsboro DE and Classic Rock “Big 107.7” WGBG-FM Fruitland MD to Draper Holdings’ WBOC Inc. for $2.2 million.
The deal will give WBOC Inc. four FMs attributable to the Salisbury/Ocean City market as the company already owns Classic Country 100.9 WAAI Hurlock and AC 102.5 WBOC-FM Princess Anne. The company also owns three other stations that serve areas adjacent to the market: “Sports Radio 1240” WCEM Cambridge, Country “106.3 Chesapeake Country” WCEM-FM Cambridge, and Classic Hits “107.1 The Duck” WTDK Federalsburg MD. The company also owns the local CBS, FOX, NBC and Telemundo affiliates in the Salisbury/Ocean City market.
Adams will currently retain Country “US 98.5” WUSX Seaford DE, CHR “OC 104” 103.9 WOCQ Berlin MD and Oldies “Kool Oldies 104.3/105.1” W282AW Salisbury/W286BB Ocean Pines fed via WOCQ-HD2, but we’re told sales of them are imminent.
