Adam Rivers Rises To WKSS Program Director

Adam Rivers Kiss 95.7 WKSS Hartford KC101 WKCI New Haven iHeartMedia Hartford has promoted Adam Rivers to Program Director of CHR “Kiss 95.7” WKSS Hartford-Meriden CT.

Rivers has been with the company’s Connecticut properties since 2013 serving as APD/MD/afternoon host of CHR “KC 101” WKCI New Haven adding PD duties for Hip Hop “100.9 The Beat” W265DB/WKCI-HD2 when it launched in 2015, and then rising to PD of WKCI, News/Talk 960 WELI and Sports “ESPN Radio 1300” WAVZ New Haven in October 2019. He subsequently added APD/MD duties at WKSS in 2015 and afternoon host duties there in November 2020. Prior to coming to New Haven, Rivers programmed “Kiss 98.3” WKSI Winchester VA and was APD of 98.3 WILI-FM Willimantic CT. He began his career as a weekend and overnight host at WKSS in 2005.

Rivers takes the day-to-day programming reins at WKSS from iHeartMedia Hartford SVP/Programming Joey Brooks.

As Program Director, Adam will be responsible overseeing the programming, music, on-air personalities, promotions and digital operations for KISS 95-7. He will report to Joey Brooks, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Connecticut.

River will continue to serve as PD / on-air talent for KC101 and PD for 100.9 THE BEAT in New Haven.
