Adam Bomb Joins WNGC As Morning Host

Cox Media Group Country 106.1 WNGC Arcade/Athens GA has appointed Adam Bomb as morning host alongside Haley Mason.

Bomb previously hosted a national CHR/Hot AC night show for Cumulus Media first with Paris Hilton and then solo and currently voicetracks multiple shifts for Cumulus including mornings on 90s/2000s Hits “Hot 93.3” KLIF-FM Dallas, middays on CHR “Y102” WHHY Montgomery AL, afternoons on CHR “Hot 101” WHOT-FM Youngstown OH, and nights on Hot AC’s 96.3 WDVD Detroit and “98.9 Kiss-FM” KYIS Oklahoma City. He has also hosted nights at CHR “B94” WBZZ Pittsburgh, mornings at “I93” KLIF-FM Dallas, and nights and mornings at “Y100” WHYI Miami. He is also the in-game host for the minor league Gwinnett Stripers.

Adam Bomb succeeds Jerry ‘Walker’ Arnold, who relocated to North Carolina for his wife’s career in June.

As a seasoned on-air radio personality, Adam brings a wealth of experience from his tenure in Atlanta, where he successfully hosted various air shifts, including nights and afternoons on Q100/Q99.7 during his impressive sixteen-year stint. He also made his mark as the nighttime personality for several years on Westwood One’s syndicated AC/Hot AC program until its closure. Prior to that, he contributed his talent to Y100 Miami, and his career includes a diverse range of formats in cities like Dallas, Pittsburgh, and smaller markets near his hometown in Pennsylvania. Adam has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to community involvement, a legacy he will uphold here at CMG Athens/Gainesville, GA.

Adam Bomb joined forces with current co-host Haley Mason to kick off the next chapter of the 106.1 WNGC morning show, airing weekdays from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Adam will also maintain his role as the in-game host for the Atlanta Braves’ Triple-A affiliate, the Gwinnett Stripers.
