Abby Murphy Bert Show Q99.7 AtlantaFormer Cox Media Group Soft AC “Easy 102.9” WEZI Jacksonville morning host Abby Murphy has joined The Bert Show.

Murphy fills the opening on the Bert Show alongside Bert Weiss, Kristin Klingshirn and Moe Mitchell created by the exit of Davi Crimmins last June. Murphy had been with Cox Jacksonville since 2019 following her graduation from the University of Florida where she hosted mornings on CHR “95.3 GHQ” and weekends on Country “103.7 The Gator” WRUF-FM. She also served as social media director for the Cox Jacksonville cluster and tracked nights on CHR 95.1 WAPE.

The show introduced Murphy with her calling the show during every segment the past few days.

The Bert Show today announced Abby Murphy (top left) as its newest co-host of the nationally syndicated morning radio show. Joining existing personalities Bert Weiss, Kristin Klingshirn and Moe Mitchell. The Florida native’s sense of humor combined with her quick-witted spirit will complement the show’s real, raw and funny conversations that have captivated millions of listeners across the country over the past two decades.

Bert Weiss said, “When looking for a fourth co-host who would bring the level of energy and enthusiasm our listeners have come to love and expect, Abby was a no-brainer with her easy-going nature, can-do attitude and hilarious views on the world around us.” When Murphy’s not in the studio, the self-proclaimed “hot mess” is living out the phrase in real life — enjoying spontaneous trips with friends, impulse-buying rom-com books online and cheering on The University of Florida, no matter the Gators’ winning streak.

As host of “The Break Up Break Down” podcast, Murphy has built a following with her tell-all conversations surrounding guests’ shocking, messy and oftentimes, embarrassing, break-up stories. With experts and professionals joining Murphy on-air to lend advice and answer subscribers’ relationship questions, listeners undoubtedly walk away with a leg up in the dating game. Follow along with Murphy across Instagram, TikTok and Twitter @theabbymurphy for a glimpse into her newest adventures exploring Atlanta and beyond.
