Cumulus Media Country 96.1 KYKZ Lake Charles LA has announced the appointment of Aaron Zytle as Program Director and morning host.
Zytle joins KYKZ from the same role at Townsquare Media’s “US 105” KUSJ Temple TX. He previously has programmed iHeartMedia Rock “102.5 The Bear” KBRQ Waco and “107.3 The Fox” KLFX Temple from 2017 to 2020 and spent sixteen years at Bahakel Communications Alternative 103.9 KRXP Colorado Springs starting when it was Classic Rock KYZX rising from Promotions to APD/MD to Program Director.
At KYKZ, Zytle succeeds Mike Tyler who has relocated to the company’s Melbourne FL cluster as Operations Manager.
CUMULUS MEDIA announces that it has appointed Aaron “AZ” Zytle as Program Director for Country radio station 96.1 KYKZ-FM in Lake Charles, LA. Zytle will also be heard on the station from Monday through Friday as On-Air Host, Mornings, from 6:00am-10:00am. Lytle has over 30 years’ experience in radio programming and was most recently Brand Manager and Morning Host for Country-formatted KUSJ-FM in Killeen, TX.
