North American Broadcasting Company Rock “99.7 The Blitz” WRKZ Columbus OH is adding Aaron ‘Goose’ Seller to its “Morning Blitz” with Kelly Quinn and Thick Rick starting Monday, February 3.
Seller most recently server as PD/morning host at Cumulus Media’s “W4 Country” WWWW-FM Ann Arbor MI until the company’s November layoffs. Seller joined W4 in July 2023 after co-hosting mornings at sister “New Country 93.1” WDRQ Detroit from April 2022 until the station’s sale to Family Life Broadcasting System. Seller has previously served as OM for Adams Radio Salisbury/Ocean City MD and Sound Management South Bend IN. The Detroit native spent the majority of his career in Colorado with stints in mornings at Cumulus CHR “98.9 Magic-FM” KKMG and a decade at AC “92.9 Peak-FM” KKPK where he also served as Director of Marketing and was briefly part of the morning show at Bonneville Country 98.5 KYGO Denver.
Seller commented, “I can’t wait to join Kelly and Thick Rick on The Morning Blitz! I fell in love with Columbus on my very first visit. A huge thank you to NABCO President Matt Mnich, VP of Programming Hal Fish, GM Brian Dytko, and John Crenshaw for the opportunity. I only have two goals in life now: 1) Make Columbus laugh every morning, and 2) Finish an entire ‘Thurmanator!’”
Operations Manager John Crenshaw added, “We were lucky to find someone with Midwestern roots, despite his recent work in ‘that state up north.’ His unique brand of humor (and ability to correctly pronounce ‘Olentangy’ and ‘Scioto’) make him the perfect person to lead The Morning Blitz.”
Seller fills the opening on “The Morning Blitz” created by Steven Lewis’ exit last fall.
