Rob Austin’s The Mountain of Chico Inc. has launched Hot AC “105.7 The Mountain” on Butte Broadcasting’s 105.7 K289CH Chico/104.9 KYIX-HD3 South Oroville CA.
Positioning as “Chico’s Hits and Throwbacks” and programmed by Robert Paul, the station is focusing on music from the 1990s to now with a Pop/Alternative lean. The Mountain will run jockless and commercial-free at launch with USRN’s The TJ Show to be added for mornings and Liveline with Mason at night.
The new brand replaces Oldies “Sunny 105.7“.
