Seven Mountains Media has begun its revamp of its Northwest Pennsylvania properties with the flip of four station to Classic Hits “WUZZ Radio“.
Positioning as “The Greatest Hits That Ever Was”, the new WUZZ replaces Hot AC “Majic” 99.3 WHMJ Franklin and 104.5 WXMJ Cambridge Springs/Meadville as well News/Talk 1200 WKST/97.9 W250CW New Castle and one third of the 1230 WTIV/105.3 W287DC Titusville. The station will feature former WMVL Meadville morning host ‘Lonny Boy’ in mornings from 6-10am. WALY Altoona morning host KC O’Day will track middays. Chris Randolph will track afternoons and Seven Mountains’ “The Nightclub” hosted by Kelli Gates will be heard in evenings.
The former WUZZ on 1280 WUZZ/97.5 W248DJ New Castle is now simulcasting Classic Country “Wille 95.1” WYLE Grove City.
