Dan ‘Huggie’ Amsden is joining Midwest Communications CHR 101.1 WIXX Green Bay as afternoon host on June 20.
Amsden most recently had a brief stint in afternoons at Hubbard Radio CHR “Movin 92.5” KQMV Seattle. He has also held on-air and production roles at Alpha Media CHR “Live 95.5” KBFF Portland, Townsquare Media CHR “103.5 Kiss-FM” KSAS-FM Boise and Kemp Broadcasting Hip Hop “Hot 97.5” KVEG Las Vegas.
With the addition of Huggie, current afternoon host Fife will move to middays. Those changes round out the WIXX lineup following the departure of Otis Day for a position outside of radio.
