Longtime Montana programmer Dan DeWitt began operating Community Communications LLC’s 1490 KHTC Malmstrom AFB/104.3 K282CE Great Falls MT on March 31 relaunching the station as Classic Country “Real Country 104.3“. KHTC previously featured a dvierse playlist made up of local artists.
DeWitt most recently served as Program Director for STARadio’s cluster in Great Falls. He has also programmed Cherry Creek Media’s “106.7 Star-FM” KXDR and Townsquare’s AC “101.5 The View” KVWE and CHR “107.5 Zoo-FM” KENR Missoula, and then Fisher’s Alternative “96.3 The Zone” KRZN and 910 KBLG Billings.
Dewitt describes the new brand as being “with a ‘pure country’ programming philosophy, Real Country 104.3FM and 1490AM plays a little classic country, your favorites from the 80’s and 90’s, some of the best of the new millennium and a touch of today’s ‘pure’ new country pioneers.”
