A change in mornings is in place at Cox Media Group Country “93Q” KKBQ Pasadena/Houston TX as morning host Tim Tuttle has departed after 17 years with the station.
Tuttle wrote that he was notified that the station will not be renewing my contract and that today was my last show. Co-hosts Erica Rico and Katelyn Maida remain in place.
Tuttle and Kevin Kline joined KKBQ in 2005 after previously working together at Alternative “X101.5” WXSR Tallahassee and “107.7 The X” WRAX Birmingham. He remained in mornings with ex-wife Erica Rico following Kline’s retirement in December 2020 and they were later joined by Maida. Tuttle has also worked in Daytona Beach, Knoxville and Nashville.
