Following Cowley County Broadcasting’s $275,000 sale of Classic Hits “The Mixx” 1280 KSOK/103.3 K277CK Arkansas City and Country 95.9 KSOK-FM Winfield KS to Steve and Christi Lungren’s Doxa Wave LLC, the new ownership have revamped the programming on both stations.
Doxa Wave has entered into a Joint Sales Agreement with Sterling Broadcasting and their Country “104.7 The Bull” KQSN and Conservative Talk “News Talk 1230” WBBZ in Ponca City OK. Doxa Wave’s Steve Lungren serves as Sterling’s General Manager.
KSOK-FM flipped to Variety Hits in January as “95.9 Bob-FM“. 1280 KSOK/103.3 KSOK Arkansas City followed by flipping to Classic Country to remove overlap with KQSN. Sterling owner Lyman James is hosting mornings on KSOK-FM.
