Maryland Media One has launched its third “Gold” branded Oldies station.
“Carolina Gold” is has launched on 93.9 WMIR-FM Conway/Myrtle Beach SC and 106.3 WYAY Bolivia/Wilmington NC following the company’s respective $500,000 and $400,000 purchases from Jeff Andrulonis’ Colonial Radio Group. Both stations were running separately programmed Country formats both branded as “Carolina Country“.
In addition to “Carolina Gold“, Maryland Media One owns “WHGM Gold” 1330 WHGM/104.7 W284BE Havre de Grace/100.5 W263CQ Chesapeake City/107.5 W298CG Bel Air MD and “Westmoreland Gold” 910 WXJX Apollo/98.7 W254CR Latrobe and 1480 WCNS/107.5 W298DH Latrobe PA.
