The Estate of Michael Shumpert’s Adult R&B “98.9 Jamz” WOWE Vassar/Flint MI has flipped to Hip Hop “98.9 The Beat“.
The move comes with an LMA of the station to Edwards Media LLC. Edwards also operates Hip Hop “94.5 The Beat” KWBT Waco TX via LMA.
WOWE is carrying Premiere Networks’ “The Breakfast Club” in mornings and ABC Radio’s “Deja Vu” in afternoons. The move creates a competitor to Townsquare Media’s Rhythmic CHR “Club 93.7” WRCL Frankenmuth.
