Morning host John ‘Johhny B’ Baublis has exited Beasley Media AC “Mix 99.5” WJBR Wilmington DE.
In a Facebook post Baublis wrote, “Hey Gang. This is just to let you know that WJBR and I have parted ways and I am no longer connected to the station. I want to thank listeners and friends who welcomed me back to Delaware and made Julie and I feel at home. It was great to help the community and on a personal note to be here in My Mom ‘s and Aunt’s final days.”
Baublis joined WJBR as Program Director in May 2019 and shortly after added morning show duties. He gave up the PD reins in June 2020 upon the hiring of Eric Johnson. He previously hosted mornings on crosstown CHR 93.7 WSTW from 1995 to 2006 and in-between served as Alpha Media Hot AC 97.5 KLAK Tom Bean TX until exiting in early 2018.
Deanna Marie, who joined WJBR as Baublis’ co-host last October, remains in place.
