KRBE Fills Late Morning And Creative Services Openings

Following the departure of Freddy Cruz at the end of 2021, Cumulus CHR 104.1 KRBE Houston has begun to fill his vacant Creative Services Director and midday host positions.

“Roula & Ryan” morning show producer Samantha Olivo will now add a 10am-12pm airshift to her duties. Olivo has been with KRBE since August 2019 after stints as a Promotions Assistant, Sales Assistant and Producer for CBS Radio/Entercom Houston

Maureen Cooper joins KRBE as Creative Services Director. Cooper will continue working for Cumulus’ Country duo of 96.3 KSCS and 99.5 KPLX Dallas as she has since last September. She previously served as Imaging Director of Cox Country “93Q” 92.9 KKBQ and Classic Rock “107.5/106.9 The Eagle” KGLK/KHPT from 2010 until 2020, and has held similar positions in Orlando and Syracuse.

KRBE currently has positions posted for a 12-3pm host and an evening host to replace Tyler Frye, who recently moved to sister “95.7 The Vibe” KCHZ Kansas City as midday host.
