Elohim Group Corporation sells 103.5 K278DA Houston to Rehan Siddiqui’s FM Media Ventures for $300,000. Siddiqui already operates K278DA as South Asian “103.5 Hum-FM” via Cox’s 107.5 KGLK-HD3. FM Media Ventures purchased Silent 1180 KGOL Humble/Houston from Entravision last year, but must find a new transmitter site for the station.
Rivera Communications acquires 93.1 W226CT Leeds AL from Avondale Metalworks for $110,000. The translator rebroadcasts the buyer’s Regional Mexican “La Jefa 1220” WAYE Birmingham. The seller bought then 92.7 W224CN in September 2020 for $10,000.
Station Sales
JMK Communications sells Spanish Christian “Radio Sion 1480” WPWC Dumfries-Triangle VA to Alfred Hammond’s Capital Broadcasting VA for $175,000. Capital owns “Radio Unida” 920 WURA Quantico/98.1 W251CH Manassas, which shares a tower site with WPWC although both are operating via STA after two of their towers collapsed in 2019.
Larry Fuss’ Contemporary Communications sells 1450 WROX/97.5 W248CL Clarksdale MS to Terry Ballard’s WROX LLC for $150,000. WROX was transferred back to Fuss from Paul Wilson’s LL James Media LLC last year for the forgiveness of approximately $50,000 remaining on a promissory note from the 2012 purchase of the station.
