Lisa Stiglets and Elizabeth McQueen’s JLE, Inc. is acquiring John Dowdy’s Coast Radio Group and its six stations and three translators in Biloxi/Gulfport MS for $3,255,214.
Stiglets and McQueen are the daughters of Dowdy, while Stiglets is the General Manager of the Biloxi/Gulfport cluster. The deal includes CHR “95.3 Gorilla” WZNF Lumberton, Classic Hits “Coast 102” 102.3 WGCM-FM Gulfport, Country “Kicker 108” WZKX Bay St. Louis, Southern Gospel 1170 WRPM/99.7 W259DA Poplarville, Oldies “Cruisin” 1240 WGCM/100.9 W265DH Gulfport, Classic Country “Merle 100.1” 1390 WROA/100.1 W261CU Poplarville. JLE Inc. also owns 96.7 KCIL and 1490 KJIN in Houma LA.
John Dowdy will continue to own stakes in fifteen other stations in and around Mountain Home AR, Dublin GA, Houma LA, Tupelo and Oxford MS.
