SummitMedia has launched “Classic Country 104.3” W282CA Richmond/WKHK-HD2 Colonial Heights VA.
W282CA has been simulcasting Country “K95” WKHK since May 2021 when the company ended the “G104.3” Classic Hip Hop format as part of a deal with Radio One that saw the combination of their two Sports brands on SummitMedia’s 106.1 W291CL/WURV-HD3, while Radio One launched Classic Hip Hop “The Box” on 950 WXGI/99.5 W258DC Richmond and 1240 WTPS/102.7 W274BX Petersburg.
The new format is focusing on Country hits from the 1980s and 1990s.
