iHeartMedia has promoted Frank Harris to SVP/Programming for their Sarasota FL cluster.

Harris was most recently serving as Program Director and morning host at Classic Rock “Z105” 105.9 WTZB Englewood and cluster Digital Program Director. He has been with the Sarasota cluster since 2004.

iHeartMedia Sarasota announced today that Frank Harris has been named Senior Vice President of Programming, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Sarasota has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than five stations.

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Senior Vice President of Programming, Harris will be responsible for overseeing the programming and content of all five radio stations. Additionally, he will continue to host the morning show on Z105. He will report to Chris Soechtig, Market President for iHeartMedia West Central Florida.

“We are thrilled to have Frank oversee our programming efforts in Sarasota,” said Soechtig. “Frank’s extensive experience in the market, coupled with his creativity, drive, and passion for the radio business, makes him the perfect person to lead our talented team of broadcast professionals.”

Harris is being elevated from his previous role as Z105 Program Director/On-air Talent & Digital Program Director. He has been part of the iHeartMedia Sarasota team since 2004.

“Over the past couple of decades, I’ve been privileged to contribute to Southwest Florida’s evolving radio dial. It’s truly radio in paradise,” said Harris. “It’s an honor now in my new role to help our award-winning team of broadcasters deliver great content and conversations across all of our iHeartRadio platforms.”
